The Gamesman is a person who has devoted his life to games of chance. He travels the world in search of those willing to put up their treasures against his own; frequenting markets, guild halls, and more often than not, back alley taverns.
Some Gamesmen rely on their skill, taking any game if only for the expirience it will bring. These men are fearless gamblers… One day they are up 30 million gold half crowns, the next their children do not eat.
However, there are those who have devoted their lives to Kubera, and find in his blessing un-natural luck. With Kubera guiding their hand, the devout Gamesman knows no loss.
Even so, everyone sometimes has a run of bad luck. Even a devout Gamesman has losses. The difference is that a Gamesman does not give up. No matter how long the streak of bad luck runs, a Gamesman places his trust in his faith or own skill and pushes on toward better days.
Gamesmen can often be seen in the markets, trading. Or out searching for a treasure. Even so, the thing a Gamesman loves more than anything else, is the risk… the stomach jittering thrill of the game.
