Finding Ferrhott

After much preparation and the right crew, I decided to seek out the Private Library of Ferrohtt. I had the right gear, a good crew, and the knowledge to find this great treasure.

The crew consisted of many great people. xJibbx for his treasure hunting skill and the usage of deduction. Zanzubar for his sly wit and alternative ways to solving problems. Gohmoku for his superb fighting styles, cooking skills, and the ability to win every game of full contact G’oh. We were the ultimate team and were ready for what was instore.

The library was said to be in a place of forgotten beauty, past the ocean dae. Our common sense said that we should start there. So, after packing are bags, we left the Walsuk tavern with much anticipation. We soon headed east for Dae shore. Passing many interesting wildlife while chatting about what the library will appear as. Zanzubar, shot around ideas of it being in a stone crate covered in ancient runes. G’oh, what we nicknamed Gohmoku, with not much treasure hunting experience thought it would be made of tablets of gold, plastered gems, and worth alot of money. We could tell he was in it for the money, but of course, every searching group has one of those. xJibbx wasn’t too interested in it’s monetary value, but in the enjoyment of finding the library. xJibbx was my sort of Treasure hunter. I sought it for its knowledge value.

With my journal in one hand and my Cave torch in the other, I begin to read for further information. It was slowly progressing onto nightfall and I was getting sort of hungry. We set up camp and G’oh whipped up a nice batch of rice and lentils. They were very filling. With our bellie’s filled and darkness surrounding, we soon fell asleep under the stars.

At dawns first light, I noticed something that I have never noticed before. The scriptures had revealed a passage written in Giahara ink, which is only seen in the early morning. It said that the library could be found in the underground catacombs of Xirahata temple in a nearby wood. I woke everyone else up and introduced them to my discovery and we continued to the woods. Deeper and deeper we continued onward. Looking around for a temple. In search of a great rock building, we saw a very small structure forged of sandstone. It appeared slowly crumbling over the millenia. We ventured into the temple, ready for anything.

Going down a few flights of stairs caused the temple to get darker. I light my Cavern torch to guide us through the darkness. G’oh and I had our weapons available for any form of attack. We passed through many rooms until we found a large center chamber. Within the chamber was a stack of stone slabs. This had to be the lost library. We rushed over to the tablets and I removed my paper and chalk. I ran the chalk over each tablet so the text would be marked onto the paper. As I was about to place the tablets into our packs, a loud noise erupted.

The floor began to vibrate violently. And a rattling sound could be heard. It sounded like pebbles falling. I took out my torch and pointed it into the direction of the noise. I tried to peer deeply into the darkness and was startled by a figure popping up into my face.

It was a skeleton, lead by another skeleton, and another, and another….and some more…. and more….. and too many to count! With his mental powers, xJibbx paralyzed the skeletons from attacking. I took my blood and began to swing. These skeletons bones did a number to my blood. It costed me pretty penny to get a skilled smith to repair it. I was only able to take out a few of them until the paralyzation phased out. With xJibbx being weak do to the mental focus, Zanzubar was required to read from his spellbook to stop the skeletons in thier tracks. G’oh said one thing to me. One thing I will never forget. “How stupid are you man? Any fool knows that skeletons hate bludgeoning objects, dur.” I laughed and said…

“Alright, you can handle it.” He responded with, “Indeed I can. Watch this.” He removed a small pouch from his rucksack. He pulled out G’oh chips and started chucking them at the skeletons! This caused the skeletons skulls to shatter and fall to the ground back to their motionless state. With this well needed defense, I was able to pack up the stone tablets. I told the rest of the crew that they shouldn’t see them for I would like the master scholar’s of the Merchant Guild to look over. And so we returned with a safe journey and a new found glory. The Personal Library of Ferrohtt. A great treasure of all treasure’s. The Treasure of ultimate knowledge. The scholars of the Merchant Guild decided to copy the stone tablets into books for access to the community. This has led us to releasing to the community under the authorization of Elder Demolish and the Coordination of Merchant Barter.
